adult Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Chowder Ness Barton today with a flock of 104 Dunlin and 13 Ringed Plover; also Whimbrel, 80 Redshank, and 2cy Med Gull this evening

view from the public access banks but do not walk along the bank in front of the farm where it clearly syas no access; the public footpath ruins south of the farm and back onto the bank to the west of all of the farm buildings;

Sorry about the late post - have been at Gib. Point for the evening high-tide tern roost.
Craig Nimick left a message on my answerphone to tell me that he saw the Buff-breasted Sandpiper on Reads Island this evening for ten minutes. It then flew to the back of the island where it could not be seen from the road.
