Certainly looks as though Little Ringed Plovers are moving through the county at the moment. Are they mostly juvs??

The 2 near Carlton I saw yesterday were juvs

The group of six consisted of three juvs and three adults.

Hirundine numbers are really building up now. Over 1000 swallows at the Mere roost this evening (per M Briggs). I'm sure it will take a few more to put a dent in the mosquito population here !
