Fantastic morning 5am-12.30pm

Kingfisher - a delight to watch as returned to same area at least a dozen times during the early morning. :D

Marsh Harrier showing well 3 times for around 20 mins each time :D hunting around Ness Lake, being hassled by a common tern at times

Also

Grasshopper Warbler ( very tuneful 6am for about 5 mins)
2 Common Tern
2 Shoveller
usual coot, moorhen, mallard etc.
3 Reed Warbler
2 Sedge Warbler
1 Robin
3 Wren
2 Blue Tits

Pity the light was bad for getting any decent pics, when the sun did show there was nothing about!! Typical! Still a great birdwatching morning. :D

Good God 5a.m!!!!!! Mandy - it seems a long time since I was that keen. Perhaps again when I am on holiday somewhere exotic?
