No shortage of Greenfinch around these parts today - with the 50 acres of rape seed and 150 acres of Winter wheat recently harvested there is very little cover now around my house so seeing a flock of 100+ Greenfinch flooding to and fro between Ash Trees outside my window and the back fields is quite a sight (and sound).

12+ Swallow swirling around the lawns for an hour or more this morning during the heavy drizzle.
