Whist carrying out work , obs included, a flock of c 180 linnets feeding in adjacent oilseed rape stubble with c 20 goldfinch, a mixed flock of hirundines feeding over the water c 150, most were swallows 6-8 sand martins 10 house martins and 16 swifts. little else of note. John |
