Highlights of the morning's seawatch at Mablethorpe were:- Great Crested Grebe 1 juv N Sooty Shearwater 10 N Gannet 60 N & 52 S Wigeon 5 N Teal 110 N & 23 S Shoveler 3 N Common Scoter 76 N & 16 S Golden Plover 5 N Grey Plover 14 N Knot 31 N Bar-tailed Godwit 1 N Whimbrel 1 N Curlew 1 N Arctic Skua 3 N & 4 S Great Skua 1 S Kittiwake 1 S & 2 N Black Tern 3 N Guillemot 1 S & 2 on sea With Rick Bennett, Steve Meeks, Terry West and several others. |
