Green ticking and rushing around on my bike again today when Kev Wilson texted me to say that John Shaugnessey had found a Red-necked Phalarope on a pool on the old salt marsh at Gib Point.
It was obligingly still present when I arrived, a lovely Juv bird, doing all of the things that Phalaropes do when feeding on small pools. Thanks alot Kev.
