At 16:10 today I was sitting in my back garden, enjoying a cup of tea, when I saw a Buzzard flying in from the west.
I had my bins to hand, as always, and over the next few minutes a further 10 birds came in from the west until there were 11 Buzzards circling and gaining height over my garden. They circled for about 10 minutes and then started to split up and drift off to the east in twos and threes.
Who needs Falsterbo!

I wonder if Andy's buzzards were the same ones that were at Jobs Lane pits this afternoon. There were 5 in the air at the same time

Also there were
Kestrel 2
Lapwing 9
Carrion Crow 5
Magpie 4
Green Sandpiper 2
Snipe 1
Meadow Pipit c20
robin 6
Great Tit 2
and plenty of Wood Pigeon

Water levels were fairly low
