Just to confirm the details. I found one Grey phal at around 8.15 while skirting the south of the saltmarsh lagoon out from Rimac. There had been a vey high tide and the marsh was awash. It was lucky I'd decided to bike in wellies for the first time or i wouldn't have found it.

The Sabines Gull was a a juv heading N at around 8.30, it came along the edge of the outer dune ridge (where the waves were up to) and then went North. A long awaited Lincs tick for

There was a heavy passage of gannets and lots of common scoter, wigeon and teal moving but it was really wild and the sea was so rough I hate to think how many petrels I missed.

On the way back in I had 2 Grey Phals together on the lagoon. They were still there at 11. I saw John Walker who had seem them earlier and He'd had 2 Sabines Gulls N from Mablethorpe N End around 8 am this morning
