A 4hr seawatch between 07:15 and 11:15 produced the following:

SABINE'S GULL - 1 juv north at 08:55 (this ties in nicely with the later pager reports of juv's north at Chapel Point at c08:40 and Rimac at c09:40 so likely the same bird? Could it have also been the same bird that had made it to Filey by 12.20?)

Arctic Skua - 7 (including 2 low along the beach)
Skua sp. - 2
Little Gull 15 (nice group of 8 close in)
Kittiwake - 8
Gannet - 60
Sandwich Tern - 11
Tern sp. - 3
Guillemot - 1 on sea
Razorbill - 1 on sea close in then flew north
Black-throated Diver - 1 north close in
Dark-bellied Brent - 3
Pink-footed Goose - 100 south
Teal - 16
Wigeon - 13
Common Scoter - 30
Shelduck - 52
Cormorant - 2
Knot - 18
Sanderling - 8
small wader sp. - sev flocks
Redwing - 5 over
House Martin - 1

An hour around the trees and dunes produced few migrants:

Blackbird - 7
Redwing - 1
Robin - 4
Goldcrest - 8 (more heard)
House Martin - 2

Presumably the same juv Sabine's Gull went north past Sandilands at 9.10am.

Spent 2 hours around the trees 1230-1430 at Anderby Creek today, and had up to 30 goldcrests and a brambling, but nothing else. Absolutely nothing.

Redstart at Chapel Marsh

I should have sea-watched!

Can echo Frenchy's report today. Spent the day in N Norfolk, had a Great Grey Shrike in-off at Thornham village but it was otherwise very frustrating. Deliberately stayed away from the locations that were coming on the pager in order to find my own stuff - the best it got was a Spotted Fly and a Ring Ouzel to the west of Warham!

Good numbers of Goldcrests and Robins, but otherwise migrants severely lacking.
