Post subject:  Wash Pelagic 7th Oct - belated news

On Sunday there was another pelagic from Boston out into the Wash and highlights of birds seen were: 12 Red-throated Divers, 2 Black-throated Divers, one Slavonian Grebe (at Boston Dock entrance), 200 Gannet, 80 Little Egrets, 200 Pink-footed Geese, 2000 Brent Geese, 3 Velvet Scoter, 25 Common Scoter, one Red-breasted Merganser, a Grey Phalarope, 12 Arctic Skuas, 3 Great Skuas, 12 Little Gulls, 1000 Guillemots, 1200 Razorbills. The following were seen between Boston and Witham Mouth: 5 Kingfishers, a Stonechat, a Wheatear and 3 Grey Wagtails. In total 86 species recorded. I will post some photos later.
