Yesterday at about noon a yellow wagtail flew in front of my car just after Hawthorpe hamlet on the road to Irnham. Ian |

late record Ian - suppose you didn't get enough on it to eliminate the possibility of eastern races Haven't seen one down here for 10 days or so - the last couple of weeks only provided sightings of birds high over actively migrating, so to get one on/near the deck seems really good - what is the latest lincs record? |

Only brief glimpse but it did not have a blue or black head.In fact it looked very pale and yellow. If it was not our flavissima it could have been lutea. Sorry not to be more specific but I stopped for a few seconds but the bird was diappearing accross the fileld. Ian[/i] |
