3 Bewicks and 9 Hoopers in with mute swans. 3rd field south from the Wroot turn off along Park Farm Drain Road.

There are still some there today although were too far away for me to clearly see the beaks. There were 15 birds in total with several being noticeably smaller than the rest.
Coincidently, they are in exactly the same field that a large group of Whooper swans were in, in the springtime. Would some of these be the same birds who will always pass through this area or is it a complete coincidence that migrating swans have chosen to rest in exactly the same field?
