Friday 261007 saw me at Covenham Reservoir where the Slav Grebe showed well and the Black Tern was still present. Also 42 G C Grebe and 164 Cormorant. Then did Saltfleet Haven for an hour or more and couldnt locate the Richards Pipit. Dipped on the reported American Golden Plover as well despite a good look round. Things improved again on Saturday morning where I managed Firecrest at Crook Bank. All the above with John WALKER. Now on 203 BOU.

Green birding updates have gone a bit quiet on here. Would be nice to hear from those who are still enjoying it!

Regards

Nige

A Snow Bunting over the Gib East dunes this morning brought my tally to 161, though I have to admit to cycling no farther than Skeg to Gib so far, and that was hard enough in this morning's south-westerlies! Still enjoying it and have passed my target of 150 so quite happy with that.

Also at Gib today..

Pink feet 48 (Tennysons)
Water Rail, at least 5 calling, 2 seen
Green Sandpiper 1
Great Spot 1
Kingfisher 1
Barn Owl 1
Wheatear 1
Stonechat 1

Regards, Rob.

After a blank October, mainly due to working away for 3 weeks, I finally added to my score with Great Northern Diver at Thurlby this morning. This brings me up to 188 and I have cycled just over 2,900 miles to achieve this.
