Post subject:  Great spots

It has been a remarkable autumn for great spotted woodpeckers at Gib. Many have been noted flying south over the East Dunes - up to six in a day. 23 have now been ringed during the period and plumage and biometrics have indicated that they are probably UK birds on the move.
