also

4 Stonechat
4 Reed Bunting
1 Kingfisher (on old ancholme)
3 Grey Heron (all together in one field)

On leaving Worlaby we headed up onto the top road over the wolds and were thrilled to see a Merlin hunting. It flushed a flock of small birds up and singled one out, chased it, caught it, then lost it, then caught it again. What a sight! Watched through the binoculars rather than waste the spectacle trying to photograph it! A nice end to a nice day! :D
