Circular route from Belchford to Scamblesby produced nothing of any significant interest apart from a Grey Heron and seeing a large badger sett. Usual Corvids, Doves, Blackbirds and Woodpigeons etc..... sadly came away feeling rather disappointed.

Our Walk was one of the ones described in a walk leaflet produced by Lincs Wolds / Lincs County Council called 'Under the Shadow of Juicetrump'. It told of lapwings in fields, skylarks etc but we saw none.

Are these promotional leaflets written in a stupour of wildly preposterous optimism, or did we (parents and I) just pick a 'duff day'?

Don't know what it's like down where you was, but further up in the wolds near Binbrook it's almost impossible not to see lots of Birds of Prey, loads of Buzzard about at the minute
