Visited from 10:00 to about 15:30
Highlights included

Water Rail 2 (first of the year)
Avocet 1
Greenshank
Black Tailed Godwit 2
Golden Plover 5
Snipe 20
Little Egret (seem to be more common than grey heron nowadays)
Blackbird (a lot)
Goldeneye 1 pair
Kingfisher 1
Siskin 3
Red Throated Diver 3
Starling (many off the see)
Gannet
Rock Pipit 1
Stonechat 1 male
Sparrowhawk 1
Brent Goose (many)
Barn Owl
Jack Snipe 1
Pink Footed Goose 3
and a first in many visits to Gib ---- not a pigeon or collared dove anywhere that I noticed ---- a record I ask????

A nice view of a Peregrine on the way home was a good finish to a pleasant day

There were small groups of migrant woodpigeons early morning c 90 south, but collared doves still in low numbers (day counts less than 10) since the population crash about 5 years ago.

Various people looked offshore through the day and five adult Pomarine skuas were seen heading south as well as 5 little auk and small numbers of duck etc. A great northern diver showed quite well offshore yesterday - today's report of one may not have been reliable though.
