Hi,

At/from the Mouth of the River Witham/RSPB Freiston Shore area early morning;

Red-throated diver - 1
Razorbill - 1
Pale-bellied brent goose - 1
Merlin - 1
Peregrine - adult female
Brambling, siskin, redpoll - sev. flew over
Blackcap - 1
Lapland bunting - 1
Common seal - 284

Interestingly I thought the peregrine at Witham Mouth was carrying prey as I saw something dangling from its talons.....however I assume the same bird has just flown past our office (at Frampton), briefly alighting on a telegraph pole and it would appear to be wearing jesses.
