I remember a big flock at Morrison's inGainsborough about 12 years ago. Everytime I went to see them they had disappeared. I finally saw my first on Monks Road in Lincoln a couple of years ago and that was after about five visits to the area

I also remember a friend telling me that he had a flock eating berries in his garden a few years ago. Living only a few hundred yards away he hadn't bothered to tell me - thinking I wouldn't be interested. You probably heard my scream

Great garden tick Katherine, I’ve been waiting for some to turn up in my part of Lincolnshire to photograph and you get one in your garden, lucky thing.

Western side. That's as accurate as you'll get as I guard my online privacy very jealously indeed, for my own safety.

An excellent record Katherine !

Waxwing is on everybody's wish list for the garden, most will never get one though.

Well done.

Superb garden tick.
You should check the trees around Tescos car pk, they do seem to like supermarket car parks.

You lucky girl Katherine, all I get is feral pigeons, doves, sparrows, blackbirds, starlings and a black cat which caused the greenfinches and goldfinches to disappear
Still one day they may return, I put fresh seed and other food out day after day just in case.
Obviously my bit of Cleethorpes just isn't the right place
