10/12/07 1.00pm 1 Green sandpiper flushed from large drainage ditch adjacent to R. Witham south of Cherry Willingham. Also pair of Goosander on R. Witham here. Looks a good area for SE owl with wide grassy river banksides and plenty of rank setaside. Ian Birch |
