10 to a dozen people at a very cold Worlaby late this afternoon

Short Eared Owls 4 at least
4 to 6 Buzzards
4 Kestrels
4 Stonechat 3 male 1 female but probably plenty more
Kingfiher 1
Curlew 5

No sign of Hen Harrier or Barn Owls for me but both were seen by others

Very common were frozen fingers and toes. Roll on summer

Having seen all these reports of SE Owls etc, I've got to get myself to Worlaby ... but where is it? I can find Worlaby on the map (if I've found the right place, it is not too far from Grasby but you take the first turn at Brigg roundabout rather than the second). I can't find Worlaby Carr on the map though. If I drive to Worlaby will it be obvious to find? Is it a LWT site?

I turned up very late and missed the majority of the SEO's, but was directed to one in a tree at distance, and saw a Female Hen Harrier on the other side of the woods to were most were standing Also a couple of Buzzard in tree's, again at range.

On leaving at around 4-20 a Barn Owl flew across the track 20ft in front and gave good views for a minute or so, landing close by

Worlaby is near Elsham and about 5 miles north from Brigg

In Brigg take the A18 for just under a mile

Turn left onto the B1206 towards Barton. Stay on this road for 2 and a half miles. Crossing the M180 and a railway line

After Elsham golf club (on your right) turn left onto a minor road signposted Winterton and Worlaby if my memory serves me. Worlaby is the first village just a mile and half up this road.

Turn left into Carr Lane (single track) which is at the far end end of the village. One or two residencies and a chicken farm are on the left but open fields further down and all the way down on the right

About half a mile down the road is a rough parking area just over a drain.
This is as good as anywhere for seeing the owls, buzzards and harrier. They could come at you from any direction. Obviously late afternoon is the best time
