Rectangular walk from Doddington village to 'Ash Lound' wood and back to Doddington. c0900 - 10.30. (on public footpaths!!!)

1 Grey partridge
300 Black-headed gull
5 long-tailed tit
2 Skylark
2 Meadow pipit
5 Goldfinch
Goldcrest

is Ash Lound wood the wood near to Hughes's factory?

Yes, its just to the north of the settling ponds of the Hughes rendering plant. The wood is private but footpath skirts the southern end which would still allow you to view and hear most species likely to be found.
