Only been to Grainthorpe Haven once about three or four year back and that was enough! The track leading down to it was upto the sills in mud, I suppose it could be said I was stupid to attempt it, but was hoping to see the crane if I remember.

Next day it took two hours just to get the mud off!

I think it should be renamed Black Hole

well all i can say about that is , if you dont want to get yersens mucky, just go to old moor or potteric carr or minsmere or titchwell.
i have difficulty walking far myself these days, ( a bit of the old arthur askey in my ankles ), but i would rather spend 4 hours in the open, just with me old russell mantling about round me, with those big skys and marshes, than worrying about cleaning my car.
