Visited various locations this morning and early this afternoon and arrived home depressed by the Grimsby/Lincoln commentary on the radio. Very cold and windy

Toft Newton

Little Owl
Yellowhammer c50 on the grass banks just through the main entrance
Grear Crested Grebe c100
Plenty of Tufted Duck and Pochard
Teal one or two
A couple of hundred Lapwing
No sign of the Smew - has it been seen this winter?

Nocton Fen

Whooper Swan 7 half way between Bardney and Wasp's Nest

Dunston Fen

Many Lapwing
Small flock of Golden Plover
Fieldfare
Redwing

Whisby Lagoons

Redshank 1

Jobs Lane

Heron 1
Carrion Crow

A couple of other locations were not as interesting as Jobs Lane!!!!
