1 bittern at boultham mere showing very well this afternoon for about 20 minutes in the reeds opposite the hide,up this end of the mere due to fishermen in a boat down the other end!

great spotted and green woodpecker

5 redwing
2 red legged partridge
c2000 starling coming in to roost,also 1 headless starling in the hide!
mixed tit flock including c15 long tailed,blue,great, 1 willow tit,3 coal tit(new patch tick),4 goldcrest and a treecreeper.
the above new patch tick puts me on 99, i wanted 100 before the end of the year but the hollywood ending where it happens didn't quite work.
