TRENT PORT, MARTON 9 Jan 08
08.20 - 09.20
Second BTO Atlas survey of local patch and very pleased with results.
45 species noted using tetrad with at least another 10 species overhead (gulls, etc).
High-lights were as follows:
Common Sandpiper 1 (third sighting this winter)
Jack Snipe 1
Common Snipe at least 58 (wouldn't be suprised if over 100 on site)
Goosander 5 north.
Merlin 1m (close views)
Wigeon 90
Shoveler 9
Teal 6
Gadwall 1
Tree Sparrow 25
