Hi, Could any Gib. regular let us know if the DW has been seen recently, and if so exactly where, as we are planning a trip there tomorrow. Thanks, Steve |

Kev Wilson reported it on Sunday. I think there is little doubt that it is there but it is proving somewhat elusive at times When I looked for it before Christmas (unsuccessfully) it was supposed to be in the bushes between the visitor centre and the Wash Viewpoint (Lil's Hut). Apparently it is spending a lot of time on the saltmarsh - a large area. Suggest you get in contact with Kev direct Hope this helps |

Hi Steve I havent had any reports of the bird since the last one I put on the forum. However, I have probably been a little out of touch. I know that it has shown quite well on the few sunny days that we have had in the last couple of weeks. Good luck. Kev |

Is this North of Lill's Hut? Dad and I didn't have any luck, and we go there for 2.30pm. We were wondering if we were looking in the right place. Can somebody tell me the best time to go and see it, please? Thanks. |

Hi Alistair It does range from the weather enclosure to Lill's Hut (Wash Viewpoint) and it gets in the scrub and out on the saltmarsh. Some people say its best early morning but on the two occasions that I have seen it its been through the middle part of the day. It never seems to show on cold, windy miserable days. I didnt hear any reports of it yesterday when the weather was poor. Cheers Kev |
