Nocton Fen - 10.00-10.30 Dull;very windy Whooper Swan - 7 still present with the Mute Swans but rather distant now from the Fen through road Grey Partridge - covey of 9 birds Branston Fen - 10.30-11.00 Dull;very windy Further to Russell Hayes' report of 9 Jan : Bewick's Swan - 12 still present with the Mute Swans Merlin - one Regards, Freddy |
