The cattle egret was back in the same meadow as per most of yesterday at 1100 hrs today, probably because its sheltered from the westerly gusting over 65mph. cheers John. |

The Cattle Egret was showing well when we arrived at Seaview,in small flooded field just to the north of the NNR compound, but then was quite flighty, and eventually being flushed by a dog walker,in the sheep field to the north of the compound at about 13.50,it was then seen to fly low to the north west of this area, and could not be re-located.The bird may still be in the area, and the weather conditions where not exactly helpfull,at one point the poor bird was nearly blown off it's feet. Regards Steve, with Dave Wright. |

Cattle Egret showed well in Horse Paddocks at Cawthorpe this afternoon, then seen to fly off towards Kenwick Golf-course. Bird was seen by a competent birder, not myself. |

Cattle Egret showing well at Legbourne at 1230 today. In field east of the A157 with sheep, near a sign to the village hall. When I left the bird was still walking round the field. Guy |

The Cattle Egret is indeed now showing 200m east of post office. Dad and I saw it from the car, didn't even need to turn the engine off! |
