Gulls - not everyones cup of tea but worth a count once a month ! Birds flying into the Wash roost in about an hour this evening; black-headed gull 5600 common gull 1180 Med gull 2 adult winter herring gull 530 greater black-backed gull 25 lesser black-backed gull 4 other reports today - blak brant and pale-bellied brent and yesterday, 8 snow bunting and spotted redshank.
