Started by going to Farmer's Lane, had two Grey Heron going over towards East Butterwick, then about 20 Common Gull next to M181 with quite a few crows. Then drove towards E. Butterwick along the old road which used to link up with the road alongside Carr Dyke, only a few Common Gulls about.
Didn't feel like walking along Butterwick Hale, so went towards Susworth and old Tuetoes. On river Eau at Susworth only three Tufted Ducks seen from car. Nothing of note at Tuetoes. Drove back same way and then along Black Bank. Parked up for twenty minutes. Had 70 Lapwing and c600 Golden Plover over, plus a single Cormorant. Turned left down the narrow lane and saw very little except about 100 Rooks kicking up a row, plus five Chaffinch and four Red-leg Partridge.
Certainly not a mind-blowing day but an enjoyable one just to get out in the sunshine.
