Flock of approx 50 Bramblings at around 10:30 am on Potterhanworth fen.
Black swan on Nocton fen again, in the same spot as on Saturday, also Merlin (f) and high flying Sparrowhawk on Nocton Fen.

Cheers
Derek

Derek,
Great news that a Brambling flock is in the Lincoln area. However, Potterhanworth Fen covers quite a large expanse. Can you narrow down your sighting location (eg. a Map Reference or Farm area)? Is there perhaps a favourite feeding location - particular hedgerow, grain spillage area attracting other finches as well, etc?

Regards,

Freddy
