Flock of approx 50 Bramblings at around 10:30 am on Potterhanworth fen. Black swan on Nocton fen again, in the same spot as on Saturday, also Merlin (f) and high flying Sparrowhawk on Nocton Fen. Cheers Derek |

Derek, Great news that a Brambling flock is in the Lincoln area. However, Potterhanworth Fen covers quite a large expanse. Can you narrow down your sighting location (eg. a Map Reference or Farm area)? Is there perhaps a favourite feeding location - particular hedgerow, grain spillage area attracting other finches as well, etc? Regards, Freddy |
