Cattle Egret - at Howdales near Skidbrooke 11th March 2008

Sent in by Gary Edwards - he is assuming its the legbourne bird but did seem tired and kept quartering the same bit of field as if looking for something'........

Birdguides is showing this report as "Sudbrooke" (just NE of Lincoln,off the A158 ) not "Skidbrooke, and giving a Sudbrooke Map Reference.

PS. I went to the Sudbrooke Map Ref this afternoon at 4pm but there was no sign of the bird.

I now believe Birdguides to be wrong as I have now found Howdales on the map near Skidbrooke N. Lincs.
