Took the 6:55 Sleaford to Lincoln train to work this morning and was surprised to see a, or presumably last year's, Black Kite. Rather embarrassingly, I don't know exactly where the train was at the time, but think it must have been between Digby and Rowston. It was very close and flew very low away westwards from the train: - presumably the train disturbed it from a trackside perch. Presumably this is last years Ram Farm bird and I wonder if it has stayed in the general area all winter and also wonder how it has been missed since November. Around 8 Buzzards also seen this morning. Alan |

We had a look around the Digby - Rowston area this afternoon but only found Buzzards. Colin and Sheila |
