A few sunny hours at Waters Edge this morning:

2 Siskin
2 Redpoll
Lots BH Gull
2 GSWoodpecker (1m1f)
2 Bullfinch (1m1f)
Usual Blue, Great and LT Tit
4 Robin
3 Wren




Worlaby Carrs. (with Mick and Bob Hurst)

2 Short Eared Owl (one hunting 1.45pm then another joined it)
4 Barn Owl (all seen on the wing together)
2 Kestrel
4 Stonechat (3m1f)
6 Corn Bunting
12 Fieldfare
6 Yellowhammer
12 Curlew

Lots of Lapwing displaying.

There has been a male Firecrest at Water's Edge today,in the first block of tree's as you go through the gate near the car-park.It has showed well on and off,but can be elusive,it took me about an hour before i saw it.
