A very pleasant few hours there today despite being cold and getting drenched at least 3 times in heavy downpours of rain and sleet! 6 Redpoll (quite a confiding bunch!) 1 Mealy Redpoll (hanging out with the above) 6 Siskin (4m2f) 6 Goldfinch 3 Robin Lots of Wren 12 LT Tit Lots Blackbirds collecting nesting material 4 Magpie 2 Bullfinch (male) Tried without success to locate the Firecrest ![]() Mandy |

I think Waters Edge was shut when I got there except for hailstones that stung like ........ 51 redshank 4 dunlin 4 ruddy duck - 1 male 3 goldeneye - 1 male Looks like it was good to be a male unless you were a male birdwatcher. Still things can only get better - think I have heard that before |
