Using up year end holiday today with more to come next week Decided to visit Barton area Miserable weather by the time I arrived Read Island a few curlew plenty of wigeon 1 female Marsh Harrier Far Ings no sign of bittern no sign of smew no sign bearded tit 4 pink footed geese Waters Edge see my reply to Mandy's post Worlaby Carrs Nearly got cleaned in South Ferriby by a white van driver who doesn't know what " give way means. Don't know how I missed him Nice views of a short Eared Owl when I arrived but little else A few teal and lapwing and a couple of kestrel |
