Pair of sparrowhawks displaying over Brumby Woods all day. Superb views. Pair of kestrels, pair of jays, great spotted drumming in 4 locations. Very vocal. Green woodpeckers prospecting for nest sites, also very vocal. First singing chiffchaff in viaduct plantation. Good numbers of meadow pipits flying north. Simon |
