A days birding was curtailed by the closure of the m180 today so i dangled my toes into the MANTON TRIANGLE and visited MSQ !!!
lots of chiff chaff
7 whooper swans
2 kingfisher
sand martins were the highlights.
no sight or sound of cettis so i slunk away having failed again and not wanting another trip to the russian front.
headed down to the humber and found imm male marsh harrier near sth ferriby then on to far ings.
