A pair of Great Spotted Wood Peckers have been working on a nest hole for a week or two now and were present again this morning (see pic in Common Birds Album). It looks as though they are going to be nesting in the large tree opposite the Fen hide and so if anyone likes these birds the site may well be worth a visit - great view from the hide! |
