At last, after spending a small fortune on bird seed over the Winter, the first Brambling to visit my garden in Dunsby has spent the last two days on the feeder. A male, still not quite into Summer plumage, he is eating sunflower seeds and even keeping the Greenfinches at bay. Hugh Dorrington |
