On missing out on the cranes I had a gander at the reservoir. When I arrived it was sunny and when I left it was black and chucking it down just after five. The road leading to Normanby by Spital from Toft in some parts were flooded and care was needed.
Lots of Swallows and House Martins. Very little in the way of ducks, and no sign of the Goldeneye.
Yellow Wagtail - 23 almost all at the northern end. And loads of Pied Wag's.
