A few hours from 5.30am, dull, cloudy with occasional sunshine. Pair of Greylags with 6 wobbly adorable new babies ![]() 1 Bittern, it came up out of the reeds and perched on the top of a large bush for a good five mins, havent witnessed this before (distant pics on blog) 1 Reed Warbler (pic on blog) 6 Curlew 6 Redshank 2 Willow Tit 3 Grey Heron 8 Teal (4m4f) 4 Reed Bunting (2m2f) 2 Snipe 1 Water Rail (very vocal) Pair Ruddy Duck 2 GC Grebe 18 Shelduck 2 Cormorant 6 Pochard 20 Sand Martin 6 Chiffchaff 1 Little Grebe 2 Bullfinch (m) 1 Willow Warbler 2 Gadwall 1 Pied Wagtail 2 Goldcrest 2 Blackcap Usual Coot, Moorhen, Mallard etc Lots Chaffinch, Wren, and Tit sp.
