Rog,

I suggest you ask the admin team who I am sure will provide you with the answer.

Josh probably has special dispensation.

Hi Josh,

Nick Williams and I were on there on 2nd May. We did not get as impressive a tally as you by any means.
Highlights were; 30 - 40 Common Terns, at least 2 Arctic Terns, 1 Little Egret, 8 Red Crested Pochard, 2 Shoveler, Cuckoo, all the hirundines and a reasonable selection of the expected warblers. Apart from Oystercatcher and Lapwings we got no waders.

Best regards,

Ian

Thanks Ian. Real loss of habitat this year (some in appalling, perhaps not even legal, circumstances) has put a downer on warblers sadly. Waders are also really hit and miss as the best habitat (i.e. New Works) is drying up fast.

Cheers
Josh

Hi All,

With reference to Roger's very valid points, I am getting together the full definitive details of membership of the LBC Forum. Please bear with me as I want to get the details completely correct before they are published. In order to do this I need to confirm a number of points with the LBC committee. I will publish this on the Forum and the LBC website for all to see ASAP.

As I stated at the LBC AGM - "the decisions and changes that have occurred over the past year have been a committee decision and not one taken by myself or any other individual. The committee in turn has taken certain decisions in response to concerns expressed by members at the last two AGMs, culminating last year in a majority vote for this action"

Roger, if you wish to talk to me regarding these issues before I publish the details, please contact me by Private Message...

Best Wishes

Andrew
