My first visit to this location and didn't I enjoy it. Such glorious weather and I only saw one person all morning
8 Wheatears 2 Buzzards - 1 close overhead mewing Lots of Meadow Pipit but I couldn't make any of them into Tree Pipits Plenty of Skylark 1 Cuckoo some distance away 1 Song Thrush 2 Kestrel 3 Lapwing A few Sand Martin and Swallows Plenty of Yellowhammers and 100s' of Rook Unfortunately no Shrike or Ouzels
Perhaps not very exciting but so pleasant with warm sunshine on the bones
