Several observers on both sites during the day saw :

Little Gull 2 1stS birds on Frampton reservoir
Greenshank 2-3
Whimbrel 10+
Golden Plover 6 all SP
Black-headed Gull 1 ad with very bright green fluorescent dye on the entire neck - anyone know who's colour-marking these ?

Freiston:
Spoonbill 1 wetlands, appeared to fly south at 8am, but back by early evening
Marsh Harrier 2
Common Tern 12

Overall, rather quiet given events elsewhere in the UK !

Aww - if I'd been with you, I'd have got whimbrel as a life tick! :(

I did ask for help from people on here to go birdwatching at Freiston or Frampton during my parents' absence, and my feelings have been very much hurt by the fact I didn't get a single offer of help or an invitation from anyone.
