Me and the boys joined Simon Spavin for a walk round Ackies on Sunday morning and saw/heard;
Whitethroat (at least 4)
Willow warbler
Blackcap
Chiff chaff
Garden warbler
Wood pigeon
Blackbird, song thrush, mistle thrush
Long tailed, blue and great tit
Crow
Jackdaw
Robin, wren, dunnock
Swift
Chaffinch
Bullfinch (pair)
Green woodpecker

Orange tip
Speckled wood

Quite a good list I think - except that to keep the boys interested I promised them 5p for every species!!
