1 grasshopper Warbler on edge of.
walked onto thorne moors(long walk).to viewing platform, plenty of hobbys,2 guys went pastand told me that the best place was a boardwalk over flooded area south of platform-few hundred yards-went there,..fantastic views of both birds, one in particular hanging round, kept perching briefly affording great views, lots of close overhead sorties and insect catching,in yorkshire, but a great bird,a female red foot.lots of birders did not get the views i had so walked back to platform to tell these two other guys and they came back to the boardwalk and were glad they did, scoping it perched etc-great day ,if it weren"t for two yorkshire lads telling of that spot i would have not had such superb viewing-drink to you two tonight lads!!.
but the walk, one guy said i must have walked 7 Miles!!!!.
knackered rog.
